I know one thing for sure, its easy to build ideas up in your mind about things that MIGHT happen ,without having any actual facts to go with it. keeping you mind clear of thoughts that don't help has to be important to anybody wanting to achieve more than what they have now, but at the same time appreciating what you have now.

There are a lot of things you can do to make a website rank (or get backlinks) but what really is the best use of resources - not just your $$ but time. Social bookmarking seems like a waste of time relative to actual links created

Interesting week, looking after staff and always look at what they are doing and how they are doing it. The must not realize I can see what is going, how much work is going and who is doing the work. Also I really understand the law of attraction- its what you think about which is really important, and what you let into your brain.

An interesting approcah

Watched a really interesting call the the zeitgeist moving forward - allow the first 1/2 was very negative (money and capitalism is bad and offered no solutions) the second 1/2 was very interesting, it involves a total change of society- away from money, (or barter) and more importantly, a move away from oil based products, and the debt of government. It was a very big picture which is a possible future- how much culture change this involves is the concern.

Today, I got showed set of keyword research words done for me - I trusted the writer as I am already a customer, and the price was a no brainer at $7.00 - I truely believe focused large action is the key to success, top it off with long term persistance and your on to a winner

Working through- getting things done

Waking up today sick with Migraine (anybody who has had one knows what its like) made me think of the process of getting things done- its a matter of small consistent steps, every day. Now and then I miss one day (and you can to) but commit to yourself, to only missing one day. It like having a "down day" - a day when you attitude is less than perfect everyone has one, but dont have a down week- you lose momentum and get frustrated that things are not happening fast enough, which makes you quit of move on to something else, and have it happen again.

Sometimes in business, you find yourself hunting for business, or in some cases, you forget about certain leads and move on. that's when you find it coming back. I just got contacted by someone who I talked about marketing there site 3 months again, lots of messages, missed meetings, and so on...I gave up only to move with another project, and now they contact me again- hopefully for a live meting and $90 K project- go figure

A Good find

Wasn't looking to create small adsense sites again, but was convince but the way the sites bounced up and down (with any backlinking) also believe that I can provide a small amount of work using the 2400 search's and $2.00 click research done for me. I think my strength is backlinking systems, and work in that area - Jack Canfield- focus on your strengths......

Over thew last couple of weeks, I have watched how quickly things can get done when you only have the one simple idea to implement. the create and editing of product information in a systems, makes it easier just to edit and make changes and move on to the next product. This means a lot gets done very efficiently. Also in reading a book from Jack Canfield, the principle of "5 a day" is really simple and just makes sense while building momentum.

I will admit to having somewhat of a dislike of "Gen Y" workers, mainly because i thought they are not interested in working, but, in a project I am working on, it seems I was wrong, they are just different, - they take longer to work out what they want, and actually wand to fit in, to be of value. live and learn

Most people try to prioritize but everything is important, so in some cases its a matter, of saying "I will ignore this and let them sort the problem out themselves"- Most of the time, the person will....... especially when they have to ;)

I just read a post online, which is true, but needs more. It talks about 2 things to be a success online, actually I think there is 3:

1. Focus - You have to choose Exactly what business model you are going to use, and how you are going to make money

2. Action- You have to take A LOT of action, and its always more than you think, and expect challenges along the way

3. Belief - You have to have this to complete the top 2 - you have to have enough faith to keep doing the first 2! sometimes you think you have made a mistake, and you need to review, what you are doing, but make sure its "logical talk" - not emotional

Are Book stores a thing on the past?

I noticed yesterday that my favorite bookstore (and hang out for coffee) was condensing a lot smaller, having less books, smaller choices, less quality. I know the company has been having a lot of problems with going into liquidation, mainly because, even in NZ we can get books from international companies, shipped to us free, as a cost lower than buying them off the local store. So what happens mostly is that that people window shop at local stores, then order online. I wish I had a solution for local stores (maybe a local print option?) a reading shop -1 copy of each book to free read, not expecting to buy, with coffee shop included- then being able to order a book, have it printed there and then in the shop, have it "hot of the press" - dunno how this would work as far as payments etc

I have a theory about when we learn at school, and we achieve something that it helps out self esteem, which wants (or gives us believe) that we can achieve more. This is how you build yourself on little tasks and also increases your own ability. Others who haven't learn t this, tend to start tasks and get nervous, which things don't progress exactly how they thought they would. It then tasks daily self "maintenance" to keep things moving- Everyone have some self doubt, but those who achieve, thing above the voices ;)

I have spent a lot of time online, building a buisness. I think the biggest mistake I make, was not staying in one industry and business model for long enough to get it to the point of making enough money, then moving on to something different. The key really is recurring, got to have recurring income or its just a job

So many times, I have tried to "get up a hill" to achieve something and found that I would lose motion 1/2 way, mainly because I came accross things that I didnt expect, then I started to doubt what I doing. It wasnt what I was doing BUT what ithought about and focused on. This then defined my actions, which brought more poor results. Alwsy pit yourself around people going the right direction

In a new project I am developing, (and looking for finance), people have a lot of opinions, without having knowleadge (like everbody who watches american idol is an instant music professional)

Some of the queries, they dont even has facts behind them, or they havent or dont understnd the differences in the project. I guess its a mtter of finding the right people to work with.

If you come with how this concept will help him make more sales, get an advantage over other agents, and it has to be short and fast to implement (they have an attention span of a fly - type of market they are in)

Monday is my most productive day- Why? because I set a list to get things done, and I plan to get 5 things done a day to "one" goal. This simple process has help me stay on topic and on focus. It recent worked really well for my wife, when she was looking for a Job
